Copyright & Content Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

Draft notice: this is a starting template, not a legally reviewed document. Get it checked by a qualified lawyer before relying on it, particularly around guest/supplier content rights and the takedown process.

Ownership

Everything we create — site copy, the AiEOU name and logo, podcast episodes, articles, and the frameworks and methodology we’ve developed (including our supplier vetting criteria) — is owned by AiEOU or used under licence, and protected under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and applicable trade mark law.

What you can do

You’re welcome to:

  • Watch, read, and share our content using the official links and social share tools we provide.
  • Quote short excerpts with clear attribution back to AiEOU and a link to the original.
  • Reference our published vetting criteria when describing how a supplier made our list.

What you can’t do

Without our written permission, please don’t:

  • Re-upload, re-host, or repackage full episodes, articles, or site content on another platform.
  • Use the AiEOU name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that doesn’t exist.
  • Present our supplier assessment as your own, or claim a listing you haven’t actually earned.

Guest and supplier content

Podcast guests agree, before recording, to their story, likeness, and voice being published as part of an episode. Suppliers featured on the show or the approved list retain ownership of their own name, logo, and trade marks, used here with their knowledge and for the purpose of accurate reporting and the approved-list disclosure — not as an implied broader licence.

User-submitted content

Anything submitted through the “Monthly Challenge,” a guest application, or a supplier assessment application is covered by the submissions clause in our Terms of Use — in short, we’ll ask before publishing anything that identifies you.

Media enquiries

Journalist or publisher wanting to interview someone from AiEOU, or to republish, quote at length, or embed our content? That’s exactly what media@aieou.com.au is for — get in touch there rather than our general inbox, and we’ll turn it around quickly.

Reporting a concern

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or trade mark, email hello@aieou.com.au with details of the material and your rights in it, and we’ll look into it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
