Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

Draft notice: this is a starting template, not a legally reviewed document. It hasn’t been checked against the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or the Australian Privacy Principles by a qualified lawyer, and it’s missing real business details (ABN, registered address). Get it reviewed before relying on it.

Who we are

This policy covers AiEOU (“AiEOU,” “we,” “us”), reachable at hello@aieou.com.au. [ABN and registered business address to be added here.]

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, through:

  • The contact form on this site — name, work email, company, and whatever you tell us in the message field.
  • Podcast and supplier-list “notify me” sign-ups — the same contact details, plus which list you asked to join.
  • Supplier assessment applications — company and contact details, plus whatever supporting information you choose to provide.
  • Monthly Challenge entries — your name, contact details, and the business challenge you describe.

We don’t use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site at present. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

How we use it

We use what you share to reply to your enquiry, deliver the service you’ve asked for, consider you for the podcast or the approved supplier list where relevant, and keep you posted on things you’ve specifically asked to hear about (like a podcast launch notification). We don’t send unsolicited marketing, and we don’t sell your information to anyone.

Who else sees it

Contact form submissions are processed through HubSpot, a third-party form-handling and CRM service, in order to deliver your message to us and manage our reply. We don’t otherwise share your information with third parties except where required by law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the information we hold secure, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and application information for as long as it’s relevant to the reason you gave it to us, and delete or de-identify it once it’s not needed — unless we’re required to keep it longer by law.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@aieou.com.au. Depending on our size and structure, we may or may not be formally bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) — but we’ll treat these requests seriously either way.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
